Stuff in the Lectern

Every new teaching semester brings surprises. Sometimes the surprises are with the students. Sometimes the surprises are with the technology. Sometimes the surprises are with the classroom. I have noticed that the lectern is especially full of surprises. This week is no different. As I will do periodically throughout the term, I present a photograph of the stuff left inside the lectern of my class. Sounds boring, right? Well, you can't even begin to imagine how the lectern takes on a life of its own.
